Vastu tips and direction for Household Appliances


Home Appliances
The equipments that are used for heating should be kept in the south-east of the room. Fridges should be placed in the north-west portion of the room. TV sets can be placed anywhere but the north-east part of the room.Cooler or A.C should be placed in west or north direction. Avoid A.C or Cooler in southeast and northwest.

Dining Table
If the dining table placed in the kitchen, it should be kept in the north-west direction

Beds
The bedroom is a place for rest and rejuvenation, and hence the placement of the bed according to Vastu is significant. According to Vastu, your bed should be placed with the head towards the east or south. The bed in the guest room can have its head towards the west. Avoid a round or oval-shaped bed.

Mirrors
Mirrors shouldn’t be placed in study rooms. Avoid a mirror in front of your bed. They should only be installed on the north and east walls. It is believed that anything your mirror reflects it will double.

Study Table
Children must always face east or north direction while studying, this would boost their energy and concentration. Place the study table in the south, west or even northeast direction.

Almirahs
It should be placed in the south – west direction of the room. They should be placed in such a way so that they open towards the east or north direction.

Sofa sets
Heavy furnitures like sofa and chairs should be kept in the west or south-west direction of the living room.

Shoe Racks
Shoe racks containing footwear should be placed in the west or south-west corner of the hall or veranda.

Interior Plants
According to Vastu, plants with red flowers and bonsai trees should not be kept inside the house. Instead it can be plant in an open space or garden. Indoor plants should be kept in south-east direction of living room or hall.

Fish Tanks and Fountains
Having a fish tank can reduce your blood pressure, anxiety and stress level. These decorative pieces should never be kept in the bedroom and study.
